Leader of the electro scene in France
It is in 2009 that the Electrobeach Music Festival (EMF) was born under the impulse of Alain Ferrand, mayor of Barcarès (66). The goal was to offer a free event for young people. In the first edition, Greg Cerrone and Joachim Garraud gathered 40,000 people on one evening. In 2013, the EMF takes a turn and goes to the festival format by becoming a paid, over two days and a scene then evolving each year to three days of celebration and four scenes. The festival breaks every year attendance records reaching for its 5th edition in 2017 no less than 170 000 festival-goers over three days and confirms its place in the top 5 French music festivals in terms of attendance.
David Guetta, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Tiesto … are regulars on the main stage of the festival. Electrobeach was the first to attract the greatest international EDM artists and regularly offers its festival-goers exclusive sets in France. Over the years, different streams of electronic music have been represented with the addition of new scenes. First BeachStage with a sound rather Deep House, then TechnoStage with a more underground programming and finally, since last year, a scene Hardstyle. The EMF now offers a complete offer of electronic music.
The festival attracts not only its international programming but also thanks to the alchemy of a technology incorporating the latest video trends and special effects, all through a scene of more than 25 meters high.
